Meet heather

I’m Heather Jordan, the founder and lead designer at Designs by Bristol. My love for art and design goes way back—long before I ever started interior design. Growing up, my dad owned a construction company, and I had the privilege of seeing homes and renovation projects transform right before my eyes. Watching the process firsthand, I was captivated by the idea of creating something beautiful, just like he did.

For years, I worked in mortgage lending, and my true passion has always been helping people turn houses into homes. I started working on design projects for friends and family, and the biggest one was for my own home, a charming 1926 house that needed a major renovation. Like all old homes, it came with its surprises, but in the end, it was beautiful—and it was also the moment I decided to fully embrace my love for design.

In 2019, my husband and I took on another project—a country home in Oregon wine country, which we turned into an Airbnb. That experience was the spark that pushed me to dive into interior design full-time. Since then, I’ve worked on everything from luxury penthouse renovations, to conceptualizing new custom home designs. No matter the project or budget, my goal is always the same: to create spaces that reflect my clients' personalities, needs, and lifestyles. Let’s partner to make your vision a reality.
